Welcome to our brand new website and our very first blog post! When we first started photography I was so excited to blog--I would spend far too long trying to think of the best thing to say for every.single.session. I would be crushed to see that after spending a couple hours on a single post and then see that only 10 or so people actually read it. We nixed the blogging all together and have used primarily Facebook to update our photos, tell our clients stories etc. ever since. We've decided that with the changes going on in the social media world, it was time to start up the blog again, but this time around I'm going to keep each post short, sweet, full of only the information needed, and rely on telling their story through images.
As for the website? It's been on our to-do list for a couple years now. For the last year we have been avoiding looking at our old website at all costs. It's been a time consuming project this winter, but we are so happy with how our art is being displayed. It is now very much an extension of us, our business, and our photography. We hope you love it as much as we do!
Mollie + Nathan
On to Mollie and Nathan's August 26th wedding at the beautiful Draxton's 1903 barn near Northwood, ND. This was a beautiful wedding venue a little ways from Grand Forks, ND. We arrived early in the morning (I think we were there at 7am) and it was just getting light. We weren't sure what to expect but man were we impressed! They converted an old chicken coop into a super cute bridal suite for the girls to get ready in. Their barn was so unique and beautifully decorated. The yard and area itself was a photographer's dream. Gardens that should be in the Better Home and Gardens magazine, amazing landscaping, a canopied driveway... we knew it would be an amazing day.
