Becky + Levi

Becky and Levi were married on September 2nd, 2017 in Grand Forks, ND.  Their ceremony was held at St. Michael's Catholic Church, and their reception was at The Boardwalk in East Grand Forks, MN.  Becky and Levi were very laid back and we had a lot of fun with them throughout the day--starting with photographs in their beautiful church, to downtown Grand Forks, then on to their gorgeous reception and golden hour photos.  Our favorite part of the day was when we were downtown with them and their wedding party.  We heard an ice cream truck down the street and Becky joked that we should take pictures with it.  We said "Actually that would be awesome!", and there goes the bride RUNNING down the street in her wedding dress and wedding shoes, veil flowing in the wind, to chase down the ice cream truck.  As all good ice cream truck drivers would do, he turned around and parked in the alley for us.  We bought the entire wedding party ice cream to use in the photos, and at the time we just thought it was fun and something different (and awesome that Becky was willing to chase down the guy), but after sending the wedding gallery out to them earlier this winter we got a super sweet Thank You card in the mail from them.  Becky said that because of this moment on their wedding day, the two of them will always think back to their wedding day and their photos every time they hear an ice cream truck.  Reading it gave me chills, because we want to deliver so much more than just photos on a wedding day.  We want our couples to have an amazing time, and make memories in the process.
